To Michael
You sit
upon your little hill, and watch your little world go by,
And frown
upon your little world, and sometimes laugh, and sometimes cry.
You never
leave your little hill; you're afraid to go away,
Afraid to
touch your little world; you just sit high up there and say:
"This is
good and this is bad and this is right and this is wrong;
This is
true and this is false; you are weak and I am strong."
You've got
to leave your little hill, and touch your little world below;
You've got
to feel the living there and all the people you could know.
Baptise
yourself into the world; live the good and bad each day;
Immerse
yourself into the cold waters of life, then you can say:
"This is
good and this is bad and this is right and this is wrong;
This is
true and this is false; you are weak and I am strong."
